Platforms four and five at Zibo Railway Station – in Zibo city in East China's Shandong province – recently finished a five-month renovation project and officially reopened for service on Aug 30.
The revamp included revivifying the canopy, grounds and pillars, as well as constructing an electronic fence, installing electric signs and escalators at the platforms. After commissioning the facilities and renovations to the corridor, the renewed platforms are expected to greatly improve the experience of passengers.
Meanwhile, a total of 25 train services have resumed stops at Zibo, including the K1285 from Yinchuan to Qingdao and the K955 service from Baicheng to Qingdao. For more information, please refer to 12306, China's official railways ticket-booking mobile app.
