Location: East of Shigou village, Taihe town, Zichuan district, Zibo, Shandong province
Tanxi Mountain Scenic Area is located at an altitude of 867-meter-high with a planned area of nine square kilometers. The scenic area is covered in rich vegetation with a forest coverage rate of more than 80percent, and the content of negative oxygen ion in the air reaches up to 220,000 per cubic centimeter. It is richly endowed by nature as a "natural oxygen bar".
It has distinct charm at all seasons. Mountain flowers are in full bloom in spring, streams are murmuring in summer, swathes of rich red leaves are all over the mountain in autumn; and a world blanketed in snow appears in winter.
