Tai'an showcases cultural, technological appeal in Hainan
The 2025 China International Travel Mart, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held in Haikou, Hainan province, from Dec 19 to 21.
Themed "Nihao China", the event attracted over 1,000 travel professionals and representatives from 101 countries and regions. The culture and tourism delegation from Tai'an, consisting of key scenic areas and enterprises, actively engaged in building partnerships and connecting global resources.
Centered on the city's cultural tourism brand, Tai'an delivered a full English presentation to showcase its resources and explain its inbound tourism facilitation policies, inviting international travel agencies to explore opportunities in the region. Two local travel companies held talks and reached tentative cooperation agreements with 39 overseas agencies.
During the event, Tai'an set up exhibitions in both the "Friendly Shandong, hometown of Confucius", and "Qilu No 1" zones, as well as in negotiation areas. A highlight was the mountain-climbing assistance robot introduced by Taishan Mountain Scenic Area, which drew widespread attention for its innovative functions and interactive experience.
Moving forward, Tai'an will leverage this platform to further integrate its cultural and technological resources, deepen international exchanges, and inject new momentum into the development of inbound tourism.
