Qingdao Airport began implementing its winter-spring flight schedule, which will last from Oct 27 until Mar 29 of 2025.

In this new flight schedule, Qingdao Airport planned to operate 4,332 flights per week, with the number of airlines operating in Qingdao increasing to 51. The domestic and international route network will further expand, highlighting the airport's gateway hub function.

During the winter-spring period, Qingdao Airport will operate 156 passenger routes, serving 107 passenger destinations. Among them are 19 international and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan routes, as well as 88 domestic routes.

Domestically, Qingdao Airport plans to open nine new routes to cities such as Huizhou, Wuyishan, Lyvliang, Nanyang, and Changzhi, further improving connectivity between Qingdao and third- and fourth-tier cities. Compared to the 2023 winter-spring flight schedule, flights to popular southern tourist cities such as Haikou, and Lijiang, as well as northern cities with ice and snow tourism such as Shenyang, Jiamusi, and Mudanjiang, have been increased by a total of 28 routes.

Qingdao Airport has resumed the Qingdao–Fukuoka route starting on Oct 27 with one flight per day. Also, the number of flights to Busan, Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, among other destinations, have been increased. For the first time, there will be a Singapore route operating a daily flight continuously. Qingdao Airport's role as a portal to Japan and South Korea will be further strengthened.

Next, Qingdao Airport will continue to expand its coverage of connecting flights and enhance the privileges of transit passengers. From Nov 1 to Dec 31, a preferential ticket policy for connecting flights from northeastern and northern China (such as Harbin, Shenyang, and Beijing) via Qingdao to eastern, southern, central, and western China (such as the Shanghai–Hangzhou, Guangzhou–Shenzhen, and Chengdu–Chongqing routes) will be implemented, proving comfortable and hassle-free transit.
