Located in Jiaozhou, a county-level area in Qingdao, SCODA has a core space of 108 square kilometers. It faces Japan and South Korea to the east in the Asia-Pacific region, Mongolia and Russia to the north, ASEAN to the south, and the SCO member states to the west, enjoying an advantageous location.
The expats visited the exhibition hall of the Shanghai Cooperation Economic and Trade Integrated Service Platform and the Qingdao SCODA Pearl International Expo Center, which hosted the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, the largest exhibition since the SCO was founded 22 years ago.
Since its inception, the SCODA has made every effort to promote the development of the four centers of international logistics, modern trade, two-way investment cooperation, business, tourism and cultural exchanges and the construction of the SCO Economic and Trade College, providing models and examples for local economic and trade cooperation under the international bilateral and multilateral framework, said a local official.
