SCODA builds e-commerce service base
The China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, also known as SCODA, recently launched a plan to build a Silk Road e-commerce comprehensive service base.
The service base will provide demonstration programs for Silk Road e-commerce and build a public service platform in e-commerce international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
It will be located in the core area of SCODA with a planned area of about 5 square kilometers.
It will gather Silk Road e-commerce trade entities, service providers and cross-border e-commerce platforms to professionally serve import and export operations.
Relying on the Qingdao SCODA Pearl International Expo Center, it will foster landmark international e-commerce expos and international "Silk Road E-commerce" exhibitions, and build a window for cultural and trade exchanges with the SCO and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Twelve policies and measures to support the agglomeration of enterprises on the Silk Road e-commerce platform, expand retail imports through Silk Road e-commerce, and optimize the training of cross-border e-commerce talents have also been launched.
In recent years, the SCODA has accelerated the construction of a modern trade center, using new cross-border e-commerce formats as a bridge to continuously strengthen trade connectivity and commodity exchanges among SCO countries.
