The China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Demonstration Zone for Local Economic and Trade Cooperation in Qingdao, Shandong province and the Special Economic Industrial Zone "Alabuga" in Tatarstan, a republic of Russia, recently established liaison offices at each other's park.

The two sides plan to strengthen cooperation in attracting investment and implementing projects, strengthen industrial advantages, promote the interaction and coupling of industrial chains and supply chains, and create more bilateral interaction and cooperation.

The China-SCO demonstration zone has been working to promote cooperation with Russia in international logistics, modern trade and two-way investment. It has established cooperative relations with Russia's industrial parks and institutions and introduced cooperation projects such as the China-Russia biomedical industrial park and the China-Russia mechanical and electrical industrial park.

The China-SCO demonstration zone is also expanding cooperation and exchanges with other SCO member countries. It has established economic and trade cooperation with Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan, and signed memorandums of cooperation with 39 industrial zones and associations in SCO member countries.
