Shinan district in Qingdao aims to beautify the city through strengthening the design and management of urban landscapes, with 11 hilltop parks, 15 pocket parks, and 21 tree-lined corridors to be built this year.

Visitors can enjoy the magnificent and colorful flower landscapes in Zhanqiao Pier as part of Shinan district's implementation and overall plan.

On Fuzhou Road, Taiping Road, Shandong Road, and other areas, there are also 400,000 flower pots of various species such as pansies, daisies, cherries, and magnolias.

According to one of the executives from Shinan Urban Development Company, Shinan has picked flower species such as pansies, horned pansies, daisies, and petunias that can withstand extreme cold weather conditions this year in order to provide citizens of Shinan with beautiful scenery.

The planting of early spring flowers in scenic areas such as Zhanqiao Pier, Xiaoqingdao, and Luxun Park is now complete in Shinan district. In Baihua Garden, almost 2,000 square meters of orychophragmus violaceus have been planted, with the goal of creating a sea of purple flowers.

Shinan will continue to integrate the overall design plan with the natural landscape in areas such as Puning Road Park, the Olympic Sailing Center, and Donghai Road in the future, bringing additional color to the city.
