Qingdao announced a list of key projects for 2022 on Jan 12. The city has listed 416 key projects with a total investment of 928.21 billion yuan ($146.1 billion) for this year.

This year, the city has 300 key construction projects with a total investment of 639.56 billion yuan. A total of 116 projects will enter the preparation stage, involving a total investment of 288.65 billion yuan.

There are 238 projects related to the "Four New Economy" (new technology, new business pattern, new development model, and new industry), with a total investment of 415.51 billion yuan.

There are 67 high-end equipment projects, 34 new-generation information technology projects, and 32 new energy and new materials projects.

Qingdao will give priority to supporting the construction of key municipal projects in the use of land, capital and the government review and approval process.
