In order to boost the nighttime economy and tourism consumption, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a notice on July 5 to foster more than 200 national night culture and tourism consumption clusters by relying on existing blocks that have good development potential, as well as high concentration of cultural and tourism facilities, such as art blocks, theaters, museums, art galleries, cultural and entertainment venues, tourist attractions, cultural industry demonstration parks, and commercial areas.
Six popular scenic areas and commercial blocks in Shandong have been included in the list.
In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will support the construction of local national night culture and tourism consumption clusters, with measures to strengthen COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control protocols, optimize the supply of products and services, improve public services, promote the construction of brands, standardize the order of culture and tourism markets, create a good consumer atmosphere, as well as promote the development of night culture and tourism economy.
