The Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair opened on Nov 13 in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province.

The three-day event is being held at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center, where six special exhibition areas have been set up to promote the gourmet food, traditional crafts, innovative products, fashionable items, and unique culture of Macao and other Portuguese-speaking regions.

According to the organizing committee, this is the largest promotional event held by Macao in the Chinese mainland so far this year.

Around 300 representatives from the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao), and guests from the industry, commerce, tourism and education sectors of Macau will attend the event.

Macao will also hold a series of economic and trade activities with a number of enterprises in Qingdao to facilitate investment and cooperation between the two sides.
