Laoshan 100 Ultra Trail Race held in Qingdao
The Laoshan 100 Ultra Trail Race, which was postponed for two weeks due to the COVID-19 epidemic, resumed at the Laoshan Mountain Scenic Area in Qingdao on Oct 31.
Jointly hosted by the Qingdao sports bureau, the Qingdao Sports Federation and the Laoshan District Culture and Tourism Development Committee, the event gathered more than 1,000 running enthusiasts from across the country.
The race consisted of three routes: 100 km (finish time 28 hours), 50 km (finish time 18 hours) and 25 km (finish time 6.5 hours).
The 100-km track connects almost all the famous scenic spots in Laoshan Mountain and has been praised as "the most beautiful track in China" by many competitors.
