Three Qingdao companies listed among China's Top 500
Three companies in Qingdao, Shandong province were included on the 2020 list of the top 500 Chinese enterprises.
The list, released on Sept 28, has been jointly issued by the China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association for the past 19 years. The combined net profit of all included firms rose 10.2 percent year-on-year.

The Qingdao-based home appliance giant Haier Group ranked 74th with an annual revenue of 290 billion yuan ($42.54 billion) in 2019.
Hisense Group, a leading TV and appliance manufacturer in Qingdao, ranked 168th, with last year's revenue sitting at 126.8 billion yuan.
Qingjian Group, a construction and engineering firm based in Qingdao, ranked 299th with 65.1 billion yuan in revenue.
The China Petrochemical Corporation topped the list, with revenues of 2.81 trillion yuan. It was followed by the State Grid Corporation of China and the China National Petroleum Corporation, which raked in revenues of 2.65 trillion yuan and 2.62 trillion yuan, respectively.
Beijing, Guangdong province, and Shandong province were the three regions with the largest number of listed companies at 97, 57, and 47, respectively.
