Qingdao intl sailing week, marine festival closes
The 2020 Qingdao International Sailing Week and Qingdao International Marine Festival came to an end on Aug 16 in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province.
Qingdao's annual sailing flagship event lasted for nine days, with an extravaganza of sailing competitions, performances, cultural exchanges, and fitness activities taking place.
The event attracted 10 domestic coastal cities to ride the wind and waves.
The Weihai team took the top spot in the Shandong Peninsula City Sailing Race, while the Qingdao team came in third place.
In the Coastal City Sailing Race, Qingdao won the championship, followed by Weihai and Guangzhou.
Old Boys' Dream Team, Premium Marine Racing Team, and the Sailingln Team were the winner, runner-up, and second runner-up in the "Langya Cup" Sailing Race.
The "Qingdao-Shenzhen" Twin Cities Sailing Race will be closed at the end of the month.
