COSMOPlat listed as one of China's 500 most valuable brands

COSMOPlat, an industrial internet platform developed by China's home appliance maker Haier, was listed among China's 500 most valuable brands in 2020.

World Brand Lab released the list and an analysis report at the World Brand Summit in Beijing on Aug 5.

With a brand value worth 55.77 billion yuan ($8.04 billion), COSMOPlat was the only industrial internet brand on the list, which included companies from industries such as food and beverage, light industry, building materials and media.

According to the analysis report, COSMOPlat's inclusion in the list is due to its role in helping enterprises accelerate their resumption of work and production during the current pandemic.

COSMOPlat offers mass-scale services to 15 sectors, including ceramics, vehicles, clothing and agriculture. With seven operational centers serving 12 regions in China, it has also been promoted in 20 foreign countries.

COSMOPlat was ranked first among China's cross-industry and cross-sector industrial internet platforms in 2019, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

It has been approved by global international standards organizations to develop international standards for the mass customization of industrial internet services.

Haier Group, its parent company, with a brand value of 428.65 billion yuan, was ranked third on the list.
