The delegation began their visit at the Weishan county modern fishery industrial park, which capitalizes on the unique resources and development advantages provided by Weishan Lake to breed hairy crabs, crayfish, and other fishery products.
Weishan county has in recent years embraced the potential of digitization, effectively integrating digital technology into its agricultural industry. Prioritizing industrial innovation, infrastructure development, green initiatives, and public services, this industrial park successfully employs digital empowerment to spearhead and catalyze the modernization of Weishan's agricultural sector.
Following this, the delegation ascended the Wanghu Pavilion on Weishan Island and took in the breathtaking views of the island. Weishan Lake is not only renowned for its scenic beauty but also serves as a sanctuary for a diverse array of bird species.
The lake area is home to 205 bird species. Among them, 26 species are classified as first-class and second-class protected wildlife in the National Key Protected Wildlife List, while 35 species are under the protection of Shandong province.
A mesmerizing sight unfolds each evening as thousands of herons gracefully take flight and return to their nests.
