The 11th edition of the National Acrobatics Show is scheduled to take place in Shandong province on March 16, and two of Jining's acrobatic works, Artistic Head Fu and Butterfly Lovers, will be displayed at the event.

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Acrobatics Show is the most influential acrobatic event in China. This edition of the event is expected to showcase a total of nine acrobatic dramas and 55 other acrobatic and magic performances. At the same time, experts have been invited to discuss the shows and give their feedbacks to performers.

Based on sophisticated skills, Artistic Head Fu incorporates theatrical elements into the performance to present some distinctive features of Chinese culture.

Adopted from the love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, the performance of Butterfly Lovers integrates the techniques of montage and magic tricks to stage the household Chinese folklore in a romantic and touching way, and has won numerous awards.
