To boost the development of the cultural tourism industry, Qufu has built digital service platforms, which incorporate all bed and breakfast (B&B) houses, cultural and creative industry entities and scenic spot resources in the area. On the platforms, tourists can find out information and ask for services they need.

According to Wang Tingting, a tourist who uses one of the platforms, if it weren't for the platform, she would not have found a B&B house so soon and received such considerate services.

Qufu has also built a management platform for better grassroots social governance. On the platform, rural operations and social governance can be clearly checked on the visual display interface that provides pictures and text. To create a more favorable environment for the cultural tourism industry, the platform has also provided business handling services for the villagers, and to date, it has covered 318 villages in Qufu.

Furthermore, villagers can also register for volunteer activities or ask for help from volunteers on WeChat applets or a number of platforms. As digitalization brings convenience and better services to both tourists and villagers, Qufu's cultural tourism industry is expected to enjoy a long-lasting boom.
