Confucius Memorial Ceremony held in Qufu
The 2022 Confucius Memorial Ceremony was held in Qufu, Jining in East China's Shandong province on Sept 28, attracting many people from home and abroad to show their respect for Confucius and his legacy.
The worship ceremony, with a history of more than 2,000 years, was included in the first batch of National List of Intangible Cultural Heritages in China in 2006, and is held annually in Qufu, a county-level city and the hometown of China's well-known philosopher Confucius.
