A new high-speed railway section connecting Qufu in Jining and Heze was put into operation on Dec 26.

The first bullet train on the newly opened railway section had a special carriage with representatives showcasing Jining's culture and tourism resources including the three Confucius sites in Qufu, Baoxiang Temple in Wenshang county, two Mencius sites in Zoucheng, Liangshan Mountain scenic area, and Weishan Lake scenic area.
