Chong Chern Han came to Jining, Shandong province from Malaysia many years ago and is currently general manager of Jining-based Asteem RV Co.

After working and living in the city for many years, he is able to speak fluent Chinese and regards Jining as a home away from home.

Chong said that as the birthplace of Confucius, Jining boasts a rich culture with an emphasis on family, which he finds appealing.

The city has given him a sense of belonging that he could never find in other big cities, he added.

According to Chong, Jining has made significant improvements in education and medical services. As an expat, he has easy access to medical treatment and has seen many mini-libraries being built across the city.

Chong has been enjoying Jining's welcoming business and living environment and has even encouraged his friends to invest in the city.
