Jining improves administrative service for local companies, residents
The Jining bureau of administrative examination and approval has been making continued efforts to improve its work efficiency and provide attentive service for companies and residents in Jining, East China's Shandong province.
A series of concrete measures to simplify administrative examination and approval procedures have been implemented. Data shows that the entire approval process has on average been reduced by 80 working days. The number of documents required has also been reduced by 60 percent.
The Jining Public Transport Group recently received all the licenses it required to start a parking area project. It took the company only half a month to go through all the formalities after submitting an application, and this helped save a great amount of money and effort, said Zhang Qingyun, deputy manager of the group's enterprise management department.
The licenses that are required to initiate a construction project are now issued by a single government department at the same time, according to Yang Fan, who works at the Jining bureau of administrative examination and approval. In the past, companies would have to visit different departments and spend half a year to obtain the licenses.
Due to the improving business environment in Jining, a total of 71,200 new market entities were registered in the city during the first half of 2021, up 10.38 percent year-on-year.
The bureau has also set up a special window offering services to the elderly who do not know how to use smart devices. A team to help seniors with mobility issues has also been established.
