Jining Party members hold art exhibition to honor CPC centenary

Party members of Jining in East China's Shandong province held an art exhibition in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on June 19.
The exhibition, which will last until July 10, featured nearly 200 calligraphy works and paintings created by a number of renowned artists. The works are mainly themed around the achievements of the CPC, China's natural landscapes, and poems written by Chinese leaders such as Chairman Mao Zedong.

Several calligraphers, artists, and Party members from Jining also improvised more than 60 works at the exhibition to extol the remarkable progress that the CPC has achieved over the past century and to express their hope for a more prosperous nation.
