Young and middle-aged actors performance finals held in Jining

The Third Jining Young and Middle-aged Actors Performance Finals were held at the Canal Concert Hall in Jining, East China's Shandong province, from Nov 10 to 13.

The finals were broadcast live on a large screen at the Canal Culture Plaza.

The competition includes Chinese opera, instrumental performances, Quyi, vocals, dance, and acrobatics. There are various competing plays as well, including Shandong Bangzi, Sipingdiao, Yu Opera, and Zaobang.

Registration for the competition began in March, and 84 contestants entered the finals. Among them, 32 are opera artists, 18 are instrumental performers, two are Quyi players, and the rest are acrobats.

The finals were divided into five parts: two for Chinese opera and instruments and three for Quyi, acrobatics, vocals, and dance.

An award ceremony was held on Nov 13, where the first, second, and third-place winners were announced, and seven additional awards for outstanding organizations and government departments were given out as well.
