A group of 21 faculty and students from Russia's National Oil and Gas University took part in an exchange program at Dongying Vocational Institute from July 16 to 22. The delegation participated in welcome sessions, campus tours, hands-on training, and cultural activities such as art therapy and traditional craft workshops, gaining direct insight into China's vocational education system and history.
A highlight was an environmental field study at a major nature reserve of the Yellow River Delta, where participants explored wetlands, observed wildlife, and learned about China's environmental protection efforts. The group also visited Sun Tzu Cultural Park to learn about ancient Chinese military strategy and experience interactive demonstrations that showed traditional wisdom.

Technological exchanges featured drone simulations with 5G remote control and practical training in distillation and oil quality testing, illustrating the potential for collaboration in the energy and engineering sectors. One Russian participant noted that the program broke down barriers between disciplines and countries.
The exchange enhanced cross-cultural communication and practical cooperation, supporting broader initiatives for international collaboration and contributing to the building of a shared future between China and Russia.
