Dongying Vocational College – a leading institution based in Dongying city in East China's Shandong province – recently sent a delegation to Japan and South Korea for an international exchange visit.
The visit aimed to deepen cooperation and strengthen the college's academic and vocational training programs in cultural tourism, health care and in the development of green skills.
At Tokyo University of Social Welfare, discussions focused on smart elderly care education, professional certification standards and integrated teaching and industry models.
The two sides reached preliminary agreements on joint curriculum development, faculty training and student exchange programs.
The delegation also visited Lundal Co, a leading elderly care company in Japan, where they studied service systems, product innovation and sustainable industry practices. The insights gained will play a key role in enhancing the internationalization of the college's vocational training standards.
