With spring in full bloom, Dongying experienced a surge in visitor flow during the three-day Qingming Festival holiday.
During the period, 15 monitored scenic spots, including the Yellow River Estuary Ecotourism Area, Sun Tzu Cultural Park, and Yellow River Delta Zoo, welcomed over 210,000 visitors and generated approximately 12.83 million yuan (approximately $1.75 million) in tourism revenue, marking a year-on-year increase of 8.07 percent and 7.8 percent, respectively.
Dongying optimized its tourism offerings to better meet the evolving needs of visitors. The city's culture and tourism bureau introduced a series of spring outings, featuring collaborations among local parks that seamlessly blended seasonal beauty with shopping and leisure experiences.

Camping also proved popular, with approximately 200,000 people taking part in camping activities throughout the city during the holiday.
In addition to outdoor activities, a range of indoor events — including creative craft classes, musical instrument making, and diverse exhibitions — took place at Dongying's city library, cultural center, art center, and museums, providing a rich cultural experience for both locals and tourists.
