Dongying district in Dongying city, Shandong, is advancing its high-end chemical industry with a strategy of extending industrial value chains, building platforms, and enhancing capabilities.
Recently, the district signed an agreement for the New Productive Force Incubation Park Project at the Dongying Chemical Industrial Park, aiming to foster innovation and improve quality.
Located between Xinghua Road and Fuchang Road, the project covers 283,119 square meters and will include standardized workshops, an R&D building, scientific research offices, laboratories, service facilities, and a storage area.
The development will be carried out in two phases. Phase One covers 154,098 square meters and will include facilities such as a quality control lab, offices, production facilities, warehouses, and power buildings. Phase Two, covering 129,021 square meters, will feature additional labs, offices, workshops, and warehouses.
The project will integrate existing enterprises with advanced R&D and leverage Qilu University of Technology's research capabilities to develop new petroleum and chemical products. This will enhance the park's production chain, address technical challenges, and promote cleaner production methods. Through efficient technology transfer, the project will support the high-quality development of the district's chemical industry.
Dongying district will aid the project with dedicated support like resource allocation, a task force, and a full-cycle service system to ensure early project completion and operational efficiency. This will contribute to the sustainable growth of Dongying's chemical sector.
