Dongying Vocational Institution made a strong impression at the World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference held in November.

The institute displayed two creative exhibition areas with themes: "A drop of oil awakens the century-old dream of rejuvenation" and "A seed makes millions of salty acres green".

Christine Akoth Onyango, vice-chancellor of Taita Taveta University; Krasae Chanawongse, chancellor of Krirk University; and Anongwan Upradit, chancellor of Lampang Rajabhat University are partners of Dongying Vocational Institution who attended the conference as part of delegations.
In an interview, Onyango shared, "Dongying Vocational Institution's advanced agricultural technologies have left a lasting impression on us. These innovations are unlike anything we have in our country.”
"China's cutting-edge, practical solutions inspire us, and we are eager to strengthen our collaboration with China's vocational education sector to create new opportunities and take Kenya's agricultural development to the next level, " Onyango added.
After the conference, the Kenyan delegation visited Dongying Vocational Institution for an opportunity to collaborate deeper with overseas universities.
