A promotion event for overseas Chinese investment and entrepreneurship in Shandong was held in Dongying on Nov 21.
Over 40 overseas Chinese, entrepreneurs, and high-level talents from both home and abroad attended the event.
Officials from relevant departments in Dongying introduced the city's key industries, investment environment, and development achievements, which extended a sincere invitation to explore the limited opportunities available.
During the event, a commercial alliance was formed to support Dongying's enterprises in expanding internationally. The alliance will serve as a bridge between Dongying and overseas Chinese businesses.
"When I sought medical care in China, I experienced cost-effective healthcare, which makes me optimistic about Dongying's medical and elderly care projects," said Song Xuhai, regional director of American International Group in Silicon Valley.
He also expressed his intention to invest in healthcare and wellness projects to meet the demand for high-quality medical and elderly care within the overseas Chinese community.
Many guests shared their enthusiasm for deeper cooperation with Dongying in the future and committed themselves to actively fostering connections, which will bring more high-quality projects to the city and inject "overseas Chinese-driven momentum" into Dongying's next phase of development.
