A cultural delegation from Dongying city visited Yangju city, South Korea, on Nov 18.
During the meeting, Mayor Suhyeon Kang of Yangju city extended a warm welcome to the Dongying delegation. He highlighted that the two cities signed a sister city agreement last October and that this visit strengthens their future together, particularly in the area of culture

Mayor Kang also expressed his hope that the two cities would work together more in areas such as administration, economy, education, and tourism.
Both delegations watched promotional videos about Dongying and Yangju, and discussed plans for future collaboration. This included setting up "Sister City" publicity columns on each other's official websites and organizing a series of cultural exchange events.
Following the meeting, the delegations visited Yangju's city library, where a ceremony was held to unveil the Nishan Bookhouse. The Dongying delegation presented books, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and cultural creations from their city.
