The 17th China (Dongying) International Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment and Technology Exhibition opened on Oct 29 at the Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center in Dongying city, East China's Shandong province.
This three-day event features over 360 top companies and more than 2,000 exhibitors from 30+ countries and regions. It is China's second UFI-certified petroleum equipment expo, and has gained significant global influence in the 16 years it has been held.
In her opening remarks, Yan Yun, Party secretary and director of CCPIT's Trade Promotion and Exchange Center, emphasized the vital role of the petroleum and petrochemical industry in national energy security and economic development. She noted that China's industry is advancing toward greater sustainability, intelligence, and clustering.
She also pointed out that this year's exhibition highlights cutting-edge technologies, advanced processes, and top-tier equipment, and offers a broad platform for global enterprises to deepen exchanges and expand trade partnerships.
Another speaker was Panteleev Andrei Vadimovich, deputy governor of Tyumen Oblast, Russia, who underscored that China is a key trading partner and that there is a need for strengthened collaboration.
The exhibition emphasizes the green, international, and intelligent development of the petroleum and petrochemical equipment industry. It seeks to facilitate the low-carbon transformation of traditional energy sectors.
