The Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone is reducing dust pollution at its construction sites, a crucial step toward maintaining urban cleanliness and protecting public health.
This year, the development zone's construction management department implemented an action plan with clear goals and strategies for dust control. A smart supervision platform has also been established, featuring cameras that monitor construction sites in real time.
Currently, 36 projects are connected to the system, equipped with 118 surveillance cameras for round-the-clock monitoring, effectively managing pollution from major traffic sources.
The department is also focusing on key construction sites, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with dust control measures like soil covering, water spraying, and vehicle washing.
Moving forward, the development zone will remain committed to rigorously preventing dust pollution, aiming to create a cleaner overall environment.
