During the Sun Tzu Cultural Tourism Festival, the federation of literary and art circles of Dongying's Guangrao county hosted three major art exhibitions, focusing on calligraphy, seal engraving, and photography.
The exhibition of calligraphy and seal engraving showcased famous quotes from The Art of War, offering a unique and artistic blend of calligraphy and seal engraving. A total of 84 calligraphy works and 84 seal engravings were displayed.
"The 84 calligraphy pieces feature various styles, including regular script, cursive, clerical, and seal script. The engravings draw on the grandeur and spirit of military strategy, with bold, innovative strokes creating works that flow with ease and power," said You Jiajia, chairman of the county's federation of literary and art circles.
At the photography exhibition, photographers captured the essence of Guangrao's unique appeal through their lenses. The exhibition showcased 200 photos across a range of themes, including urban development, rural vitalization, ecological preservation, new industries, and cultural tourism.
The last exhibition highlighted 15 of Guangrao's most representative historical and cultural elements. These were expressed through the literary form named "fu" in Chinese, transcribed in calligraphy, and combined with traditional Chinese painting, paper-cutting, seal engraving, photography, and more. The result was a 100-meter-long cultural scroll that beautifully captured Guangrao's rich historical and cultural heritage.
The three exhibitions debuted at the Guangrao International Exhibition Center and then toured parks and museums across the county, enriching the cultural lives of the community.
