Delegations from the wind energy equipment branch of the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, the Asia Wind Association, and company representatives from Japan and South Korea visited the Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone on Sept 12 to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.
During the discussion, Ying Xiaofeng from the development zone's Party Working Committee provided a detailed overview of the offshore wind power equipment industry and the zone's market potential.
The development zone plans to build the largest and most comprehensive offshore wind power equipment manufacturing base in the world, featuring the longest industrial chain and robust supporting facilities.

Attendees toured the offshore wind power equipment industrial park and Guangli Port on Sept 13, where they learned about the local companies and projects and observed the equipment and facilities. The delegations engaged with local representatives, aiming to use the visit to strengthen communication and cooperation with the development zone.
