The opening ceremony of the 2024 China Cybersecurity Week took place in Lijin county, Dongying, Shandong province, on Sept 9.
The event featured a captivating performance that combined music and dance with a cybersecurity theme. There were also presentations on internet fraud prevention and emerging cybersecurity trends. The ceremony marked the official launch of Cybersecurity Week in Dongying, highlighted by the debut of a themed bus promoting the event.
Throughout the week, a variety of activities will be hosted, including six key themed days: Campus Day, Telecom Day, Rule of Law Day, Finance Day, Youth Day, and Personal Information Protection Day. The program also includes exhibitions of creative cybersecurity works, grassroots outreach initiatives, and training sessions aimed at raising awareness. These efforts are designed to enhance societal focus and commitment to cybersecurity.
