From May 15 to 17, the 14th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire and Auto Accessory Exhibition took place in Guangrao county in Dongying, East China's Shandong province.
The event showcased the full spectrum of the rubber tire industry's ecosystem, encompassing tire products, rubber raw materials, rubber tire machinery and equipment, auto parts, auto maintenance and repair equipment, and more.

Guangrao county is a prominent hub for rubber tire production, manufacturing, and export in China. Its radial tire production capacity has reached 176 million tires, accounting for approximately half of Shandong province's output and nearly a quarter of the nation's output.
In recent years, Guangrao county has been comprehensively transforming and upgrading its rubber tire industry, aiming to enhance quality and efficiency. In 2023, rubber tire enterprises above designated size in the county achieved an output value of 40.72 billion yuan ($5.6 billion), a remarkable 19.6 percent growth.
The rubber tire industry is a pillar of the county's economy. Guided by the principles of high-end, intelligent, green, service-oriented, and eco-friendly development, the county has been promoting the upgrading of equipment to be more high-end, intelligent, and environmentally-friendly. The numerical control rate of equipment in key tire enterprises across the county has reached 90 percent, with over 70 percent of the main equipment meeting international advanced standards.
Leveraging the R&D capabilities of universities such as Qingdao University of Science and Technology, the county has established a virtuous cycle of industry-university-research innovation.
