The Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Qingdao FTZ) hosted an important signing ceremony on Sept 6 for a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing vocational education and training.
The agreement leverages Sino-German cooperation to develop high-quality vocational education and training strategies, create a communication platform for enterprises and educational institutions, and implement training programs in fields like electrical engineering automation, metal processing, and warehousing logistics. It aims to cultivate international technical talent and enhance Sino-German vocational education cooperation.
Since its establishment, the Qingdao FTZ has enhanced exchange and cooperation with Germany, setting up representative offices in Munich and Frankfurt, signing cooperation memorandums with 10 states and municipalities, attracting 41 German-speaking companies, and introducing China's first ÖSD exam and training center.
In the future, the Qingdao FTZ will continue to advance innovation in talent policy and deepen the integration of Sino-German vocational education to build a diverse and integrated talent development system, supporting high-quality development and Sino-German cooperation.
