On Sept 11, a cultural event for international students was held at the China-Germany Ecological Park in the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Qingdao FTZ). Over 20 international students from Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Morocco, and other countries participated.
The highlight of the evening was a captivating performance by two artists, who played a selection of classic Sino-Western fusion pieces, providing a rich auditory and visual experience.
Zamil from Bangladesh praised the event, saying, "The beauty of Sino-Western cultural integration is truly captivating. It gave me a deeper appreciation for Chinese art and culture, enhancing my respect and love for it. I look forward to more opportunities for such cultural exchanges."
Kevin from Cameroon, a student at Shandong University of Science and Technology, expressed, "I'm delighted to explore Chinese culture during my time in Qingdao. This was my first experience with traditional Chinese instruments like the xiao and xun, which has deepened my interest and admiration for Chinese traditions."
The event aimed to foster exchange and enhance the international talent environment in Qingdao. The Qingdao Free Trade Zone plans to offer comprehensive support for international talents, covering aspects such as entry, residence, work, and daily life.
