Sunkim, a cultural scholar from South Korea, was amazed by the crispy texture of a Yantai apple. He recently visited Yantai, Shandong province, and tried a local specialty called the "snow apple".

At 37 degrees north latitude, Yantai features a long frost-free period of over 280 days a year. This offers apples ample time to develop nutrients, water content, and sweetness. Additionally, he was deeply impressed by the intelligent management and complete industry value chain of local apple companies.
