Shandong delegation visits Tanzania, South Africa

Print PrintFrom March 26 to April 3, Liu Yun, Party secretary of Weifang, Shandong province, led a delegation to Tanzania and South Africa. The visit aimed to deepen cooperation within the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and the mechanism of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, promoting high-quality development through high-level opening up.
In Tanzania, Liu visited several institutions and enterprises, including the Tanzania Investment Center. He attended the inauguration of new projects and met with the 27th Chinese medical team in Tanzania.
In South Africa, Liu visited cities like Tshwane, Johannesburg, and Mafikeng. He promoted Weifang's advantageous industries and business environment and visited Weichai Group's South Africa office. He also facilitated cooperation agreements between Delisi Group and A1 Royal Seafood.
During the visit, Liu attended Weifang-Tanzania and Weifang-South Africa economic and trade cooperation seminars, where he highlighted Weifang's resources and development advantages. He encouraged more enterprises from both sides to cooperate and contribute to the China-Africa community with a shared future.
