A tourism promotion event was held in Linyi, Shandong province from March 27 to 28, gathering travel agencies and media outlets to promote the city's trading markets.

The city is advancing tourism through the integration of commerce, culture, and industry. By linking markets, e-commerce hubs, and logistics parks with tourist attractions, the city has created an all-in-one consumer experience encompassing dining, accommodation, transportation, shopping, and entertainment, driving a 30 percent increase in in-person visitors.

Linyi boasts 136 specialized wholesale markets, making it one of China's largest market clusters. The city serves as a comprehensive logistics hub, seamlessly integrating road, rail, sea, air and postal services.

In 2025, Linyi will promote the integration of commerce, culture, and tourism, transforming professional markets into scenic destinations. Embracing this concept, the city will upgrade 15 markets to meet national 3A-level scenic standards and create four themed tourism routes.
