Shandong delegation holds open group meeting at NPC

The Shandong delegation to the third session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held a group meeting on March 6, which was open to domestic and international media. The meeting continued to review the Government Work Report, as well as the draft reports on plans and budgets.

Delegates discussed the reports and drafts, offering suggestions and expressing their determination to contribute to China's national development and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Lin Wu, Party secretary of Shandong and head of the Shandong delegation, highlighted the province's achievements over the past year, including steady progress in building a pilot zone for green and low-carbon high-quality development as well as significant steps towards becoming a new hub of high-level opening up.

He also outlined key areas for further development, such as expanding domestic demand, building a modern industrial system, and promoting coordinated regional development.

The meeting attracted significant attention, with over 120 journalists from more than 60 media outlets in attendance. The vibrant atmosphere and open discussion provided a platform for delegates to share their insights and plans for Shandong's future development.
