Shandong plans to launch 15,000 key projects with a total investment of 14.6 trillion yuan ($2.01 trillion) in 2025. Among these, 1,006 major projects have a total investment of 1.04 trillion yuan.

The news was announced at a project expansion and investment stabilization conference held in Jinan on Feb 24, showing that the province is pressing ahead with major project construction this year.

The 1,006 projects are set to drive investment and economic development in Shandong this year. Concentrated in sectors like robotics, next-generation information technology, high-end equipment, new energy storage, and computing, the projects will play a crucial role in accelerating the development of Shandong's new quality productive forces.
