Jining spreads culture abroad through cultural tourism

The Jining Culture and Tourism Bureau made an appearance in Singapore during the recent "Singapore · China Shandong 'Happy Chinese New Year' Art Performances" event, with a Chinese orchestra from Jining's Shandong Bangzi Theater playing festive songs.
At the event, it handed out Jining travel maps, pamphlets and postcards of the city’s distinctive scenic spots such as Nishan Sacred Land and various Confucian sites to local people, showcasing the city's rich history, culture, and tourism attractions.

In 2024, Jining established an international travel brand as the "Hometown of Confucius Friendly Shandong", leveraging its top tourism attractions. It has held various international events, such as the 2024 "Discover China Cultural Tour" of Shandong for Diplomats in China, the Culture and Tourism Promotion of Jining City, and the "Hometown of Confucius Friendly Shandong" Serbian Culture and Tourism Promotion Event.
These events helped deepen and expand international cultural and tourism cooperation and exchanges, expanding the international influence of Jining's cultural tourism.
