Print PrintThe central processing platform of the Phase I development project for the Bozhong 26-6 oilfield, the world's largest metamorphic oilfield, is ready to be deployed from Qingdao West Coast New Area.
This milestone marks the completion of the onshore construction phase of the project, with the next phase involving deployment to the southern Bohai Sea for offshore installation and commissioning.
The Phase I development project for the Bozhong 26-6 oilfield primarily encompasses the construction of a central processing platform and a wellhead platform.
The central processing platform, the heaviest platform in the Bohai oilfield at around 18,000 metric tons, is three-stories tall, and has eight legs. This multifunctional, integrated offshore oil and gas platform seamlessly combines production and living facilities.

To tackle the project's complexities, the construction team used digital tools for 3D modeling and computational analysis. They implemented innovative equipment layout configurations to accommodate eight compressor units. This method effectively resolved challenges arising from numerous and large equipment for a limited construction space.
Furthermore, the team deployed a proprietary online monitoring and intelligent fault diagnosis system to automatically collect and analyze data, swiftly identifying equipment malfunctions and anomalies. This approach reduced the need for manual intervention and minimized errors to ensure the uninterrupted operation of production facilities.
