The 2024 Chen Jieqi Epigraphic Culture Week started on Nov 9 in Weifang, Shandong province, featuring over 4,000 works from domestic and international participants.

Chen Jieqi, born in Weifang, was a renowned scholar of epigraphy during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911). His lifelong dedication to the collection, appreciation, research, and creation of epigraphs is legendary.

Weifang is known as the birthplace and heart of these inscriptions, and generations of epigraphic scholars, represented by Chen Jieqi, have contributed to its reputation as the "City of Epigraphy".
