Rizhao hosted its High-Quality Development Conference on Oct 26, bringing together over 300 business leaders, talented individuals, and successful entrepreneurs with deep roots in the city. The event aimed to foster collaboration and attract investment to drive the city's economic growth.

Agreements for a total of 92 major projects were signed at the conference, with a combined planned investment of over 76 billion yuan ($10.6 billion). These projects span a wide range of industries, including steel manufacturing, pulp and paper, automotive, healthcare, new-generation information technology, and new energy. Aligning with national and provincial policies, these projects boast high technology content, strong market demand, and significant potential to bolster Rizhao's key industrial chains and promote employment.

To further attract domestic and foreign capital and businesses, the conference also unveiled the 2024 Rizhao investment opportunity list. Comprising 123 projects categorized into investment attraction, business recruitment, and operation and maintenance cooperation, the list demonstrates Rizhao's commitment to opening-up and attracting investment.

The conference served as a platform for participants to explore business opportunities, exchange ideas, and strengthen cooperation. As Rizhao continues to focus on high-quality development, these new projects are expected to inject fresh momentum into the city's economy.
