The 6th Binzhou Entrepreneurs Conference took place in Binzhou, Shandong province, on Oct 12, celebrating the remarkable achievements of local enterprises and inspiring entrepreneurs to take on new responsibilities and create a brighter future for the city.

Binzhou has made significant strides in attracting foreign investment, with 53 multinational corporations operating in the city, each with an average overseas investment exceeding $120 million. Furthermore, 53 products produced in Binzhou rank first in China in terms of output or market share. The city's actual utilization of foreign capital grew by 14.7 percent in the first eight months of this year.

In his keynote speech at the conference, Song Yongxiang, Party secretary of Binzhou, emphasized the importance of fostering an environment that is conducive to entrepreneurship and innovation. "By holding this conference, we aim to honor and promote the entrepreneurial spirit and create a supportive atmosphere for businesses and entrepreneurs, encouraging them to deepen their commitment to real economy, innovation, and the development of new quality productive forces," said Song.

To continue their success, Song also outlined five key areas where Binzhou enterprises should focus.

Enterprises should actively seek new opportunities in both domestic and international markets. They should also promote the upgrading of traditional industries, the scaling of emerging industries, the development of specialized industrial parks, and the synergy of future industries.

To stay ahead, enterprises in Binzhou should also foster integration among industry, education, innovation, and data.

Additionally, embracing green technologies and energy sources and utilizing resources efficiently are crucial for sustainable development.

Finally, cultural management, regulatory compliance, and social responsibility should be prioritized to ensure long-term success and contribute positively to the community.
