The annual red leaf festival kicked off at Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area on Oct 11, allowing tourists to enjoy the unique fall foliage of Zibo, Shandong province.

Taking advantage of its unique natural landscapes and geographical conditions, Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area has created a versatile tourist resort that offers dining, accommodation, sightseeing, and shopping.

The red leaves of Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area are quietly undergoing a gradual change in color, transitioning from a variety of colors to a sea of solid red leaves covering the mountains. The red leaves are expected to be at their most beautiful from Oct 15 to Nov 10. During this period, thousands of acres of red leaves will compete for the spotlight, painting the mountains in fiery strokes, like a bleeding sunset that captivates hearts under the clear autumn sky.

The red leaf festival was launched in 2020 and has since become one of the top fall attractions of Hongye Shiyan Scenic Area.
